Skills Development
Overview
Concor’s commitment to skills development is realised through investment in learning and development initiatives, which aim to attract talent, develop and retain current employees and support continuous professional development. These initiatives are designed to address immediate operational needs, support the achievement of strategic goals, and contribute to the pool of skilled artisans and professionals in South Africa’s construction and mining industries, related industries.
Socio-Economic Development
Overview
Corporate citizenship has been integral to our business since the 1950s, starting out with the Child Welfare Fund which was rebranded as the Sikhulisa Fund in 2017. Our Socio-economic Development (“SED”) policy serves as the conduit through which we facilitate access, create opportunities, develop partnerships, enhance self-efficacy and promote sustainable livelihoods within communities. Through our SED and Employee Community Involvement (ECI) programs, we support education and empower employees to contribute through payroll giving and volunteering.
