Capabilities
The company’s capabilities are reflected in our asset holding, comprising of a vastly diverse selection of plant which is geared to support Concor’s broad operational focus in Southern Africa. Assets specific to the building and civil construction sector primarily comprise of tower cranes, mobile cranes, concrete batching plants, concrete truck mixers and concrete pumping systems required for these projects. The replacement value of our assets exceeds a billion rand. Our most important assets however, remain our people. We are proud of our investment in our apprenticeship program that has in excess of 30 apprentices at any one time. Apprentices are trained in the Boilermaking, Earthmoving Equipment Mechanics, Auto- Electrical and Electrical trades. We believe that “home-grown” talent is best, hence the investment in training and development for our people.
