About Us

Concor Holdings, a wholly owned subsidiary of leading construction and engineering Group Murray & Roberts, was founded in Johannesburg in April 1948 and listed on the then Johannesburg Stock Exchange in 1981.

Concor was acquired by leading South African based engineering and contracting Group Murray & Roberts in 2006 and operates under its well known Concor brand identity and rich sixty year heritage in the southern African region.

Concor offers a range of engineering and contracting services that include: Civil and building construction, road works, earthworks, engineering, management of tolled facilities and open cast mining. Following an acquisition process by Murray & Roberts, Concor was delisted in 2006 and is now a member of this leading South African Group of Companies.   Within the Murray and Roberts Group, Concor operates as an independent competitive company.

Through its contribution to the development and provision of infrastructure in the region, Concor today ranks amongst the leaders of the construction industry on the sub-continent.

Concor’s head office is located at Concor House, Crown Industria, Johannesburg with seven operating divisions: Concor Roads & Earthworks, Concor Building, Concor Civils, Concor Mining, Concor Engineering, Concor Plant and Tolcon Lehumo.
